The sun was setting. my bride was still in hair/MU. on the inside i was panicking... but trying to remain calm as i watched all of our available beautiful sunlight evaporate behind the horizon line.
but then, this beautiful medium I shoot on - film - produced the most incredibly lovely images. I don't even miss that sunlight.
This is the kind of thing that happens when you don't freak out. when you don't cause a scene and create anxiety and a rushed feeling on a wedding day. when you promote peace and 'things will happen as they will and ought to', and when you have clients who love and appreciate a good black and white grainy film image of themselves on the beach instead of the typical highly-saturated sunset photo.
i could go back and photograph this wedding a thousand times.
